Beyond the visit price

Parts, extra time
and larger jobs.

Three things sit outside the visit price. Each one is explained and agreed with you before it goes on the bill.

PARTS

Parts and materials

Parts are charged separately from the visit. We tell you what is needed and what it costs, and nothing is fitted until you've approved it.

EXTRA TIME

If a job runs on

Additional standard time is £55 per hour, charged in 30-minute increments. Additional urgent or emergency time is quoted and agreed before work continues.

LARGER WORK

Planned work and bathrooms

Larger planned work, replacements and bathroom work are given a fixed quote before work starts, so you know the figure before you commit.

What it costs

You'll know the price
before we start.

Emergency plumbing has a reputation for surprise bills. Here's exactly how we handle money, so a plumbing visit never becomes one.

BEFORE

You get a price first

We diagnose the fault, explain what's needed and tell you what it costs. Nothing starts until you've agreed to it — so you're never committed before you know the number.

DURING

No surprise additions

If we find something else while we're there, we stop and tell you. It goes on the bill only if you say yes. No “while I was in there” extras appearing at the end.

AFTER

One clear invoice

Parts and labour itemised, matching the price you agreed. Landlords get documentation suitable for their records without having to chase us for it.

No hidden charges. You approve the price before any work starts.

Straight answers

Pricing questions,
answered.

How much does an emergency plumber cost?
Visits start from £75 for a standard appointment (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm), from £125 for an urgent evening or weekend visit (weekday evenings 5pm–9pm, plus weekends and bank holidays from 8am–9pm) and from £165 for a late-night emergency visit (9pm–8am, every day including weekends and bank holidays). Each includes the call-out and the first hour on site. The final cost depends on the job, access and any parts required.
What does the “from” price include?
The call-out and the first hour on site. After that, additional standard time is £55 per hour, charged in 30-minute increments. Additional urgent or emergency time is quoted and agreed before work continues.
Will the price change once you arrive?
You'll be told the price before any work starts, and you approve it first. If we find something else that needs doing, we stop and tell you — it's only added if you say yes. No hidden charges.
Do you charge extra for parts?
Parts and materials are charged separately, but always discussed and approved with you first, so nothing is fitted that you haven't agreed to.
How are larger jobs and bathroom work priced?
Larger planned work, replacements and bathroom work are given a fixed quote before work starts, so you know the figure before you commit.
Which price applies to my visit?
It depends on the time of the visit. A standard appointment (from £75) is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. An urgent evening or weekend visit (from £125) is weekday evenings 5pm–9pm, plus weekends and bank holidays from 8am–9pm. A late-night emergency visit (from £165) is 9pm–8am, every day including weekends and bank holidays.
Does it cost anything to ring for advice?
No. If we can talk you through stopping the damage over the phone, that's a good outcome for both of us.
